ADFC Launches Marketing Toolkit Series to Increase Education About Down and Feather Products

November 19, 2015

The American Down and Feather Council Offers Free, Downloadable Materials to Raise Awareness of Product Benefits

NEW YORK (November 19, 2015)—The American Down and Feather Council (ADFC), a section of the Home Fashion Products Association (HFPA), has developed a new Down and Feather Marketing Toolkit series as a means of educating both consumers and those involved in the home furnishings industry about the inherent benefits of down and feather bedding. Each toolkit in the series is free and can be downloaded from the ADFC website.

The first two marketing toolkits—The Natural Benefits of Down and Feather and The Health Benefits of Down and Feather—are part of an ongoing series that features approved marketing materials designed to equip ADFC members, bedding retailers and buyers, or consumers with easy-to-download educational materials on the benefits of down and feather products. Included in each kit is an infographic, point-of-purchase signage, customizable press releases, images and more. These kits will be offered several times throughout the year, and will continue to be created under a specific theme or focus.
“For bedding retailers and purchasers, these kits provide approved, educational down and feather materials to offer their customers, and even their staff,” said David Sweet, president of the American Down and Feather Council. “For consumers, our Marketing Toolkit series provides answers to any questions they may have regarding down and feather products, and the knowledge they need to make informed decisions when purchasing these products.”

ADFC invites its members and all brands or retailers dealing in down and feather products to customize and share the Marketing Toolkit(s) on their website or social media channels, with their local media or with their customers and staff.
